  • Q:

I have a Sanger V215 330 hp boat with 13 x 12 propeller. I want to increase the speed from 46 to 65 without losing all of my low end. Would this propeller get me to 65 and if so am I going to lose all of my low end in the process? Would the 13 x 13 be a better balance. How much would the increase in speed with this pitch?

Trying to gain 20 mph by just changing the propeller is just about impossible. Especially when you do not want to lose any of your hole shot. Engine modification will probably be your answer as well as a prop change. When you change your pitch, you gain speed or hole shot, not both. If you want to call our tech line at 1-888-683-7866 we will be happy to assist you.
