while in canada I used this often. it produced walleye and northern. It also is durable to the piont where it had no problem holding onto a 41" northern.

Comments about Mepps Aglia Plain Treble Hook - 1/2 oz.:

This thing works. A man I met at [...] recommended this thing to me. Im very glad I listened to em. Ive used this lure on several occassions and 9 times out of 10 it will catch you a fish. Ive caught several species with this particular lure. Ive caught bass on it both large and small mouth as well as stripers. Catfish seem to like them as well as walleye. I highly recommend this lure to anyone, you will not be disappointed unless you lose it in a snag. Any size works great however I do have better luck with the gold blade rather than the silver.

          Pros

          Cons

          • I don't like treble hooks

          Best Uses

          • Casting depths 5-30'
          • Fresh Water

Comments about Mepps Aglia Plain Treble Hook - 1/2 oz.:

Best for Northern Pike, however I have caught Black Bass & Perch on this lure. I mostly catch & release and the treble hooks can be a problem. Pinch back or cut off two of the barbs you will still catch just as many with less trauma to the fish.
