Caught Northern Pike with first use. Also caught pike with Mepps #2 dressed first use. Always liked Mepps lures and I am catching fish regularly with these by retrieving just above vegetation.

mepps makes the best spoon bait spinners, with the dressed tail the bass love these lures, last few times out trolling no longer than one minute after casting i would start getting big bites, if you like trolling or cast+retrieve without too many weeds, than this is the best.

the body of the mepps agalia #5 has changed. it used to have the oranage and yellow bead like body and now it just has the single brass ball? Why change a proven product?

The picture shows a number "0" Mepps....the smaller ones have the single bead....the larger #5's still have the orange and yellow bead-like body.
