Known as the most successful bolt action ever produced, the Model 98 is the basis for almost every bolt action made since 1900. Originally seen as the official firearm or the German army in World War I, the Mauser features three locking lugs and a controlled feed extractor. This rifle sporterized rifle features a synthetic stock, a cantilever scope base in place of the rear sight, German Waffenampt markings, and the "337" Arsenal code that was only used in 1939 and 1940. Its stock, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
