The shell jacket's ultra-durable, 100% nylon Marmot MemBrain fabric delivers waterproof, breathable performance in an incredibly comfortable package. Designed to withstand all kinds of abuse from the elements, the jacket features micro-stitched seams that are fully taped for extra waterproofing, a zip-off storm hood with laminated brim, reinforced elbow panels for durability, and a gripper elastic powder skirt to keep out the snow. The brushed tricot collar and shoulder lining lay smoothly against the skin, and the DriClime lined chin guard wicks moisture away from the neck and face for added comfort. PitZips underarm zippers extend into the body for aggressive venting, while an elastic drawcord hem easily adjusts to adapt to changing weather conditions. Angel-Wing Movement allows a full range of motion in the arms so the jacket doesn't ride up. The Tamarack's unique Zippin compatibility allows you to easily zip in another layer when the weather catches you by surprise. Two zippered handwarmer pockets, a laser-drilled water-resistant sleeve pocket and chest pocket, plus an internal zippered mesh pocket offer plenty of storage options.
