Product Description
marlin A good hunter needs a tool for every task and for varmints, the right tool is the XT-17V chambered in 17 HMR. The XT-17 sends a polymer-tipped bullet rocketing downrange at 2,500+ feet per second with a laser-flat trajectory. Marlin's XT Pro-Fire Adjustable Trigger produces an extremely consistent trigger pull with an ultra-clean break. The rugged walnut-finished hardwood Monte Carlo stock comes with sling swivel studs and the receiver is drilled, tapped, and grooved for your choice of convenient scope mounting options. Included are 4 and 7-shot clip magazines.

        Great gun. Durable, fine finish, well built and smooth action. Did I mention fun also? Only thing that could make this better would be a higher finish on the stock. The rest of the gun is so nice the stock can't keep up. Super accurate.

        This is one of the most accurate rifles out of the box I've ever owned, it took three rounds to set the 4-16x scope and after wards was putting five rounds into a hole the size of a dime at 100 yards. When I was done shooting, I finished up by shooting out the finish nails holding the targets to the board. I would highly recommend this rifle to anyone who is looking for a great rifle. The trigger is the best one of any of my rifles.

          This rifle is very nice for the money. I bought a Savage Model 93 and was horrified with the construction and the trigger pull and bought this as a replacement. I am more than pleased and would recommend this to friends and family.
