Comments about Marlin® Model XL7 Centerfire Rifle:
I purchased this rifle after researching as many articles and reviews as possible and I could not be happier with my purchase. Of course I ended up waiting until one week before this years Wisconsin's season but I was able to get it ready in time and it performed beyond expectations for such an affordable rifle. I'm seriously thinking about buying another smaller caliber one for small game and yet another larger caliber one for bigger game. What a great rifle and price!

Comments about Marlin® Model XL7 Centerfire Rifle:
so i bought this rifle to have a high powered long distance good hunting gun,,, and thats exactly what i got. the 270 win. marlin xl7 is such a good gun i was amazed with it's performance, for the money i couldnt ask for more. i bought it bare sights and put a barska 4x16x40 scope on it and had it dialed in at 6 shots. im shooting penny groups at 100 yds. and inch groups at 200yds. it has low recoil, nice smooth bolt and i adjusted my trigger to 2.5 lbs. yes it has a 2 stage adjustable trigger easy to do. overall i would refer this gun to anyone.

Comments about Marlin® Model XL7 Centerfire Rifle:
I bought this gun because of the reviews I read online. The price was so reasonable that I expected it to feel cheap. It was just the opposite. This rifle feels tight and the trigger is crisp with absolutely no creep. I did put a nice Leupold scope on that cost almost as much as the rifle but I am a big believer in quality optics. Out of the box, this gun was a tack driver. Within 5 shots I had it zeroed in at 150 yds and could cover my next 3 shots with a penny. I can't wait to see how it performs in the field during this deer season.
