A no-frills hunting machine, the Model 336CS is a rock-solid Marlin rifle that you can rely on. The 336 is built around a semi-pistol grip stock with a 20-inch barrel and a full length tube magazine. The solid, flat top receiver and side ejection of the 336 allow for easy optic attachment. The design of the Marlin 336 allows the user to remove the lever pivot screw with a common screwdriver, allowing removal of the lever, bolt and ejector for maintenance, which means that the user can clean the barrel from the breech, like a bolt-action rifle, avoiding wear to the muzzle. This rifle has not been drilled and tapped for scope mounts or sling swivel studs and features a ramped front sight with an elevation-adjustable rear sight. Its wood is in fair condition and its metal and bore are in good condition.
