A no-frills hunting machine, the Model 336CS is a rock solid Marlin rifle that you can rely on. The 336 is built around a semi-pistol grip stock with a 20-inch barrel and a full length tube magazine. The solid, flat top receiver and side ejection of the 336 allow for easy optic attachment. The design of the Marlin 336 allows the user to remove the lever pivot screw with a common screwdriver, allowing removal of the lever, bolt and ejector for maintenance, which means that the user can clean the barrel from the breech, like a bolt-action rifle, avoiding wear to the muzzle. This rifle features Buckhorn sights with a missing rear sight elevator, a Weaver-style scope-mounting base, and a cross-bolt safety. Its wood is in fair condition and its metal and bore are in good condition.
