Action - Lever Action
Caliber - .45-70 Gov.
Barrel Length - 18.5"
Sights - Hooded Blade/Semi-Buckhorn
Introduced in 1972, Marlin’s 1895 was created specifically to handle powerful .45-70 Government rounds and helped bring the forgotten cartridge back to prominence for North American big game hunting. The 1895 is a side-ejection lever-action with a straight-grip walnut stock that’s perfect for close-range dangerous game pursuit. The 1895S variant was one of the first rifles to have micro-grooved barrels, making it suitable for cast lead bullets. This rifle features a hooded blade front sight, an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, and a cross-bolt safety and comes with the original factory box. Its wood is in very good condition and its metal and bore are in excellent condition.
