        I have owned a model 1895 for years. It is one of the most accurate rifles I own. It is very durable and the knockdown power of this caliber is awesome. It is reliable and has never failed me in any kind of conditions. It is one of the easiest calibers to reload. I have never lost a deer that was hit anywhere near the vitals. This is not a long range rifle but for under 200 yards it is one of the most lethal combinations out there. Immediate knock downs are the norm.
