Q:Is this price of 12.99 per ft I have a 33ft boat. The bow has
a area of about 10'x12' and about 20" along both sides of the
cabin and about 24" across the stern. So how would I have to
order this? I would have alot of splices. Or there would be so
much waste. The boat is 12'x33' total. How do you seal the seams? is there some sort of strip to put over the seams so
they wont leak? Please let me know I would like to order your

A:Sold by the running foot. For example, an order quantity of 20 will be a 6'W X 20'L roll. 15' minimum order. Seaming this material is very difficult and is done by the manufacturer on custom widths by a dielectric weld. Contact cement could be used, but over time, will begin to curl. Typically, people will hot air weld a PVC material like this together. We can special order a specific width/length directly from the manufacturer if you would like. Q:How easy is it to install? We have a pool with vinyl covered plywood and the vinyl is now cracking (after 15 years). Would we need to pull up the existing vinyl or sand down to the plywood (i.e., remove residual adhesive from existing vinyl)?Asked on 6/30/2009 by Greg from Granby, CT
A:Installation is pretty easy once the prep work is done. It is recommended to remove the existing vinyl as well as the old adhesive to insure that the new adhesive and vinyl flooring adheres properly.Answered on 7/6/2009 by Ryan from Overtons
