Product DescriptionThe result of several design changes, the Steyr M1895 rifle was developed by famous Austrian arms designer Ferdinand Ritter Von Mannlicher. Used by the Austro-Hungarian amy throughout World War I, the strong and powerful M95 is noted for its revolutionary straight-pull action. The M95 bolt has a separate head with two frontal locking lugs. The bolt body had internal spiral-shaped ribs with matching spiral-shaped cuts in the tail of the bolt head that force the bolt head to rotate on the pull of the bolt body, locking and unlocking the action. This FEGGY-built rifle features a post front sight with an adjustable rear notch and a 5-round magazine. Its wood is in fair condition and its and metal and bore are in good condition.
