The Mannlicher-Schoenauer 1903 rifle or carbine was one of the first bolt action rifles heavily marketed to hunters. It's a fast, short, and light-handling carbine made by expert craftsmen. Distinguishing features include the signature Mannlicher butter knife bolt handle and a finely checkered, high-grain walnut stock. Most 1903s come with a high-end double set trigger. The Carbine model has a full-length stock and an 18" barrel. This rifle features a fixed front sight, a folding 2-leaf rear sight, and a 2-position safety. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
