The large cutting surface is created for head and neck shots for turkey and all sorts of small game. The large diameter of these blades acts as a brake to stop the arrow from sneaking into grass and cover.         Got it in the mail and shot it ouot of my bow and had to do some sight changes. It definitely did not fly like my field point. Got a turkey in to 15 yards and when released I must have been holding to low and hit bird in chest and the arrow just flipped off like throwing a stick at it. Hope to get another chance and put it at the neck to see if it is better. So far not sure but would buy again.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            these do fly straight at a decent range. go on youtube and there are many videos with the bullhead.
