The rest is well made and light. I purchased it for use at the range and it has worked very well for that so far. I had to make one modification in that I cut two 1" slots with a dremel tool on the sides and inserted a 1" web strap with quick release buckles for use as a "lock down" strap. This makes scope work much easier. That being said, for the price this rest cannot be beat.

Initially, it is an inexpensive alternative. It is not perfect for holding on target, but it works. At higher heights, it is unstable. Also, it is very flimsy. After using it to sight in a couple of rifles, most of the screw inserts, for the lock down screws, stripped out of the plastic, making it even more unstable and difficult to adjust. If you only want to use it at the lowest height, it still works, but it is not real stable. I would spend the money on a better rest.

Well made and it worked great for sighting in my 7mm rem mag. The 4 point stance system is great and I'm shooting good groups at 200 yards with it. Good rest!

Comments about MTM Case-Gard™ Predator Shooting Rest™:
Of course it's not a Lead Sled, but for 1/4 the price, it's a great rifle and handgun rest. I'm able to get consistent 1 inch groups at 100 yards. Each shot knocks the sight picture off slightly, but that's not a problem, bench shooting shouln't be rushed anyway.

Comments about MTM Case-Gard™ Predator Shooting Rest™:
I really like this rest, for its light weight & and stability. At the range it holds the rifle firm and stays in place quite well, thanks to the rubber pads. The carry handle helps make it very easy to transport. Breaking down the rest is easy and fast!
