Comments about Lone Wolf® Alpha Hang-On II:

Lone Wolf are seriously the best stands ever! They are completely 100% American made, silent, lightweight, and indestructible. I am a professional who works in the outdoor industry and LW is the only stand I'll take into the woods. I appreciate how easy they are to use, light they are to pack, and how well they blend into any tree. Treestands are a big investment, don't waste your time and resources trying anything else.

Comments about Lone Wolf® Alpha Hang-On II:

I love this stand. I love the concept of the strap and hook system. It certainly beats the heck out of holding the weight of your stand while trying to cinch it down. The only downfall to this stand is I had mine come crashing down. I set the strap, placed the stand in the hook and climbed on. I attached my harness to the tree and kneeled down to afix the lower strap the stand when it some how pooped loose from the hook and went crashing to the ground. To remedy this and prevent it from ever happening again I always attach a ratchet strap to the platform of the stand before I climb on. This makes the stand extremely sturdy and, if anything, it gives me a little more confidence that the stand is not going to shift on me.

Comments about Lone Wolf® Alpha Hang-On II:

When you first take the Lone Wolf out of the box you know you made the right decision...then once you hang it in tree all you will do is try and figure out when you can afford to buy the next one. That is the curse of high quality equipment. Everything about this stand is top notch. The first tree I hung it on was a nasty red oak that leaned forward...adjusting both the seat and the base to level the stand was effortless and allowed me to hunt a spot on my farm I never have before.....hammered a fat doe with my bow that evening. All aluminum and solid cast base means no rust...no home for ants and spiders...nice. Getting two more for Christimas....thanks Santa.

Comments about Lone Wolf® Alpha Hang-On II:

I like that its easy to transport and that the climbing sticks attach for easy transport. It's a sturdy stand but the seat is really uncomfortable. I am 6'01" 226 LBS and feel safe in the stand but I have to carry an extra seat cushion. Buy the foot rests they make all the difference in the world as far a comfort for long days in the stand.

Simply the Best Hang on for your $$$

Comments about Lone Wolf® Alpha Hang-On II:

This stand is simply the best hang on in the industry. Locks solid and will not move ( I still like to rachet strap all my stands at the seat level for stability and extra safety) Seat is a little thin but comfortable. However, seat adjusts...as does platform...and when seat is flipped up, it stays! I clip on a 1"foam pad for all day hunting. Get the foot rest add-on...you wont regret it, especially if you're gonna be in all day. Stand is almost invisible when put up 20+ feet...due to unique design. Dont forget the Lone Wolf climbing sticks, also the best. Avoid sycamore trees and hickory trees with this stand as slippage is exaggerated because of tree bark. Also, keep your weight vertical on steps, as they can "kick out"on you if you push laterally. This is true, though with any single strap attachment design. One more thing, immediately after attaching upper seat stand strap, get on stand (while safety strapped in, of course) and jump up and down on platform very close to tree. This will seat the stand in very solid before you attach the lower platform strap. 4.5 stars!! Enjoy your hunt!!
