I bought one on a whim to fit over the back of my .308 battle rifle (FAL). I used to be able to shoot about 60 rounds with the FAL before my shoulder would begin to hurt. With this pad on, you can barely feel even a push! I decided to check and see if it fit my Mosin M44 Carbine (notorious recoil) and not only did it fit well, but it reduced the recoil to a soft push (as if someone placed their palm on your shoulder and loosely pushed back). Everyone at the range was trying it and were amazed at how effective it was. A female friend of ours that was with us shot about 40 rounds out of the M44 with no difficulty, and she doesn't like shooting more than a 22LR. I'm buying one to keep attached to my M44. It takes the bite right out of both the .308 and the 7.62x54R.

This is a great product I bought today.... I own a tikka t3 lite in .308 cal. And when I first shot the rifle I was only able to shoot around 15 rounds before my shoulder would start to hurt... Went to the range today and shoot 10 rounds within 15 minutes and I feel great my shoulder never felt the recoil...I am so glad I purchased this stock pad. I'm going to shoot every round with a smile on my face now...and anyone thinking about buying this don't just buy it you will never regret it and you will be just as happy as me.

GREAT PRODUCT BUT THE CUFF THAT SLIPS OVER THE BUTT SHOULD BE THICKER AT THE PAD AND TAPERED IN THE FRONT. WHEN HELD TIGHT TO THE SHOULDER THE PAD ROLLS OFF THE BUTT PLATE TOWARD YOUR BODY AND MAKING IT MORE REINFORCED AT THE BUTT END WILL CORRECT THIS.

The limb saver works better than some of the factory recoil pads on some of my shotguns I will buy more for some of my other guns
