The all new optical system features lead-free, precision ground and polished lenses, coated with Leupold's exclusive Multicoat4 lens coatings. These optics provide unbeatable resolution, clarity, and contrast - with light transmission of over 90%. The VX-1 lens system delivers dependable target acquisition in any light conditions - including dawn, dusk, or bad weather. Finger-adjustable, 1/4 MOA click windage and elevation adjustments allow quick zeroing and easy adjustment in the field. The power selector ring incorporates a tactile indicator, making it easy to grasp and turn, even while wearing gloves. A fast focus eyepiece with a low-profile lock ring makes reticle focus easy to achieve and maintain, while a gold-plated Leupold medallion adds a tasteful flair to the exterior design. Leupold VX-1 Riflescopes are oxygen-purged and nitrogen-filled for decades of waterproof, shockproof, and fog proof performance in the field.

      Purchased from Gander and as it was on sale it was an especially good deal. I purchased Browning scope rings made for the X bolt rifle I had recently bought and mounting and sighting in were a breeze and I am no pro. Very pleased with the look and performance of my combo. Scope is very clear and eye relief is great.
