leupold The RX-1000i TBR with DNA (Digitally eNhanced Accuracy) technology is simply the smartest, most advanced laser rangefinder you can put in your pocket. TBR matches incline, range to target, and your ballistics information to put you right on the mark, every time. DNA technology delivers increased accuracy, speed and range. High-performance optics deliver a 3x brighter picture image for accurate ranging in low-light conditions. Up to 6x magnification while maintaining a wide field of view for tracking game on the move. Advanced OLED technology is user adjustable to match display intensity for changing light conditions. Powered by CR2 lithium camera battery and featuring a convenient battery power indicator.

Machined aluminum makes up the tough, weatherproof frame and body. Accurate ranging up to 1,000 yards on reflective targets, with measurement readouts in yards or meters. Continuous range updates in Scan Mode keep you on target as you track movement or scan an area. An intuitive, redesigned Quick Set Menu is easier to use in the field, thanks to on-screen prompts. Measures only 3.8" x 2.8" and weighs just 7.8 ounces. Includes a Cordura holster, battery, lanyard, and complete instructions.

      The only reasons I did not give it 5 stars is it is not waterproof, water resistant but not waterproof. And Leupold didn,t have a protective cover for this model. So far I can,t even find one to buy. COME ON LEUPOLD! Basic stuff. But other than that it still outweighed the others. In performance and quality.

            Leupold's RX1000i TBR is built rugged, light weight and works fast if it's gonna work. Deer sized targets are iffy past 350 yards on a sunny day.

            This is a good product for an average use, but if you intend to place a long shot in the mountains on the hot day ballistics calculations will not account for either temperature or barometric pressure changes. RX-1000i TBR is "weatherproof" but don't keep it in the rain for too long because it will fog.Other products that don't have these problems can't do RX-1000i TBR calculations,so make sure this is what you need for your use.
