I have had it for over a year now and still have not changed the batteries. The camera has taken approximately 7000 pics and 50 or so videos. I only used lithium batteries b/c that is what is recommended. The picture quality and color is great. I love having the viewer to look at the pics when I am out in the woods.

Wish I had read the previous review before buying. Same problems, manual leaves a lot to be desired,tells you to adjust sensitivity ect. but does not tell you how, written by some one who knows how to use it but not for the rest of us, occasional pics, only up close, bought because of the name but now have to deal with return

I purchased this two months ago, mainly because of the name brand, always loved Leupold. I cannot get product to take pictures. i have adjusted height, adjusted functions and sensitivity of sensor, new memory cards, batteries....you name it I tried it.

Placed cam on heavy trail, only achieved 2 pictures. I can only get the camera to operate when I'm within 5 feet of the camera. I will be sending this unit back to Leupold.

I like Leupold, but made the mistake of purchasing the first model they came out with. Like other products that initially come out, wait for about a year to purchase from Leupold so they can get the bugs worked out of this. Great concept with the control unit, just wish their camera took pics further then 5 feet away.
