Comments about Lee Load-All II 12-Gauge Shotshell Reloading Press:

I used one for years loading shells at night all winter long when I did not do a lot of shooting (maybe a couple of boxes per week) and could load about a hundred rounds in about an hour and a half. So easy to use and to set up, clamped it to a table and sat to load. Only complaint I can come up with is that I gave it away before I moved south thinking I would no longer need it, silly me. I bought a new one and am now building up my base of shells and reloading again.

Comments about Lee Load-All II 12-Gauge Shotshell Reloading Press:

I think hands down you cant beat this system. my father gave me this as a gift he has the original lee loadall that he got many moons ago and has told me stories of loading thousands of rounds through his twenty gauge. he purchased the 12 gauge load all II for my birthday this year since I recently got into reloading rifle ammo but had been shooting shotgun a lot...I cant complain about it at all...very accurate and cannot tell any difference between the ammo this produces or store bought. the only thing I wish was easier is cleaning out the hoppers after each use it is a pain since you must either do one charge at a time followed by shot which you obviously dont want to mix making it not practical at all. I simply mounted mine to a board rather than a table like it suggest in the manual then just tip it upside down to empty. The crimp it applies is much easier to look like a pro with the load all II vs the original for I have used both, my buddies cannot tell any difference between store bought twelve gauge rounds or ones i make other than a bit of powder burn on the ends. One last thought since shotgun ammo is very cheap it doesn't save you a whole lot to do it yourself however the experience is something I would almost be willing to pay for...I love my new hobby and all the tools needed to perform the task! Lee makes a very nice product!

Comments about Lee Load-All II 12-Gauge Shotshell Reloading Press:

I have both 12 and 20 gauge versions. The load all is a great learning tool as it comes with it's own charge tables which from what I under stand are a little lower in power than max loads which makes it a safe way to start into reloading in my opinion. You don't have to find particular hulls or wads to use it like some recipes as long as you know what the base is in the shell and have a particular type of powder you want to use.

I have a not used it a lot for target shell production since the 100 round bulk packs can usually be found for about the same price as components these days, and powder is still somewhat hard to find right now. I have used the 12 ga version to load lee 1 oz slugs. They work great and shooting a lot of cast hand loaded slugs is where I see the money savings. That and if I were to do more hunting rounds for anything larger than 7 1/2 shot. Prices are on the rise for #6 and larger. It can also be used to load buck shot if I ever buy a mold for that (have to hand stack the balls still). But like the slugs having the ability to de-prime/prime/insert wad and finish with a great crimp is worth it to me.

I have most of the components for loading up some 20 ga with some reclaimed shot except for the powders that I want so I expect to load up some just to try it out on the skeet field and for dove hunting this next fall.

Comments about Lee Load-All II 12-Gauge Shotshell Reloading Press:

I got this as a start and now about 6 months later my shooting takes more than I can produce off of this machine. It was ok if you only shoot causally, but if you do any type of league shooting or sport shooting you should get a progressive. I can produce 3x as many shells in the same amount of time. Roughly about 200-250 rounds an hour.
