Product Description
laserlyte It weighs less than an ounce so you won't even feel it. At less than an inch, it will still fit in your holster. Even with its small stature, the Subcompact Version 2 is loaded with features such as easy X and Y adjustments, an integrated lock bar, push-button activation, and a detachable rail system. The detachable rail system allows the user to mount a flashlight or other accessories below the laser. Made from T6 aluminum. Fits all subcompact weapons, railed pistols, and railed systems. Three, 393 batteries provide 1.5 hours of continuous use.

      The batteries (3) never lasted through firing 2 magazines or 28 rounds. I purchased a 12-pack of batteries. The visibility in sunlight is very poor on dark targets.

          Bought this at gander mtn store for [$]. Cheaper. Went to the range and the thing would turn on by itself from the recoil. Took it back they gave me another. So we will see. If it does the same thing I will demand a refund.

                Will this fit on the Springfield XD SUBcompact, and will it fit in the roto molded XD holster?

                  It does fit the sub compact, but will not fit the roto holster. It does stick out a half inch or so beyond the end of the gun.

                  yes it will fit full size rails thay call it sub compact becaus it will also fit sub compact guns with short rails. which most lasers are to long to fit on sub compact guns .
