Comments about LaserLyte Laser Bore Sight, .17 - .22 Caliber:

This product is great for sighting in EOTech or red Dot sights on Rifles or handguns. I bought this years ago and used to sight in my Ruger .22 Pistol Red Dot and the result was consistent dime size patterns with rapid fire. However, I have had mine for probably 8 years or maybe more. I needed to replace the batteries since they were dead and could not find instructions although I knew I had them out one time. Finally I decided to place some pliers on it and start twisting, what I realized was the ends were press fit together as opposed to being screwed in. The product works great, but it is really a pain if you need to change the batteries on this. For me extra hard since I have a neck injury and its hard to grip items. Not to mention the laser warning label is across the split, so replacing the batteries damages the warning label.

Now with new batteries I am sure I can sight in the holograph site I have on my new AR15 so it will be accurate at the range, moving from gun to gun.
