        The snap worked but the plastic clip is worthless. Its not sturdy enough to secure the ladder. I am disappointed in this product. (Taken from another reviewer - couldn't agree more)

                              The rail clip is too loose to hold on the ladder rail (1 1/4") and the strap fell into the water repeatedly. Luckily the good snap held on the bottom of the ladder so that the strap was not lost. Now I tie the strap loop to the top of the ladder, which is a little less than what I was paying to accomplish.
