Q:I am a shoe size 9. What size do I order in this boot to compensate for heavy socks?Asked on 11/25/2009 by Jerry from Archbald, Pa
A:Since these rubber boots don't come in half sizes, you will have to order a 10. I have a pair and my show size is 9 so I ordered a 9 and wear regular socks in them and my feet sweat. So be careful on how many layers you plan on wearing.Answered on 12/19/2009 by 34-5 GUY from Hudson, WI
I am looking to purchase an all around rubber boot but not sure how to factor in the thinsulate weights... 1000G vs 1500g etc.
And advice or insight you could give would be appreciated.Asked on 10/13/2009 by Evets from Albany New York
A:The more G's the warmer. I have a pair of Rocky snow buster's with 1200 g's and they are pretty warm unless I sit a lot. But they warm up quick once I move around. So it depends on your overall use. Sitting more go with the 1500. Moving and sitting go with the 1000. I'd also go one size over to allow for a good pair of socks.JMO
