          These were the second pair of LaCrosse boots I have purchased this year. My work boots are so great that I had no reservations about buying the ICEMAN cold weather boots for my hunt in northern Minnesota. Once again I am completely happy with my purchase and the service I got from Gander mountain.

              These will be returned ASAP. I have a pair that are over 10 years old and been through countless winter expeditions, but nicked them with my chainsaw. Just got a new pair - wow are they inferior to the old made in USA ones. These made in China ones are at least an entire size smaller than the old ones of the same shoe size! The old ones have brass eyelets, the new ones are plastic. The new liner is much lighter and thinner than the old ones and obviously won't be nearly as warm. The sole seems much lighter and thus won't insulate as well either. Wow, this is a sad day to be an American outdoorsman.

                Comments about LaCrosse IceMan™ 10" Winter Pac Boots:

                I have had my boots for twenty years and have worn them threw every rough winter situation here in Michigan's upper peninsula. Your feet will stay warm in sub-zero tempetures. They're easy to walk in and accommodate snowshoe bindings very well. I've been over some of the most rugged terrain east of the Mississippi and haven't put a hole, a tear or a leak in them yet. I have even thought about buying another pair just in case I ever do wear them out and LaCrosse stops making them. In the winter you can work or play like an "Iceman" with a pair of these fine boots on your feet.
