I have had a lot of boots during my lifetime but non as warm as these. I have owned Rockies(worst), Irish Setters, Sorels, and a bunch of different LaCross made boots and these Ice Kings are the warmest ever. They are comfortable as well. The only draw back is the size and weight. If you ice fish for 40 hours at a crack your feet might get a little tired from lugging around those beasts all weekend, but they will NEVER get cold. No other boot compares to these for ice fishing.

These boots are very warm, I have had these and before this I had LaCrosse Icemen, also a warm enough boot. The problem I have is these boots are made of cheap materials, mainly the rubber bottoms, my boots are just starting their second winter and I only were them ice fishing and the rubbers are already cracked on the side where the rubber lower bends as I walk. I had this same problem with the Icemen. Both pairs were made in China. I know guys with both these boots that are over 20 years old and with new liners are still reliable boots, no cracks. Since these boots went to China they are junk, don't waste your money unless you are only in extremely dry conditions, as once the crack they leak like a sieve.

These boots last a long time and they have replacement liners which is a plus. I bought these boots for my husband because he wore out his other Ice Kings which he had for over 13 years.

Comments about LaCrosse Ice King 10" All Leather Winter Boots:
Had these boots since January 1990 and it's now 2011. 21 years ago I spent the best [$] ever. I have just recently bought my first pair of replacement liners. If your icefishing get these boots you won't regret it at all. No need for heavy socks with these boots! ***Make sure you buy one size bigger than your normal shoe size.

Comments about LaCrosse Ice King 10" All Leather Winter Boots:
Best is for sitting around ice fishing or in a work area where you do not walk alot. They get coated with muck and mud easily adding to their own weight( which is alot). I used them for hunting and ended up carrying alot of mud on them and slipping going over fields etc. when the sun came up; never cold though!

I've had these for 2 years. My feet have never been cold with these boots through snowmobiling, ice fishing, hunting, and playing with the kids. The boots have also never leaked, the liner has never come out to be dried. Best winter boots I've owned.

Comments about LaCrosse Ice King 10" All Leather Winter Boots:
I just bought these boots and wore them 12 hours Saturday and 12 hours on Sunday ice fishing in zero degree weather in Wisconsin, and my feet never got cold. My feet always get cold, but not in these boots! I would strongly recommend these boots to anyone who likes comfortable, warm feet when its cold outside.
They are a bit heavy, but I personally did not mind at all because I could still feel my toes. I am extremely satisfied!

Comments about LaCrosse Ice King 10" All Leather Winter Boots:
Got these as a gift 10 years ago-warmest boot I've ever owned. I work construction too and a long day in the cold will not leave you with frozen feet with these boots, they are A1. After 10 yrs there in great shape, I could use new liners but even they held out.
