Comments about LaCrosse Extreme Tough Wellington Plain Toe 10" Work Boots:
I replaced a pair of Columbia slip-on snow boots of which the rubber bottoms totally disintegrated after a couple winters. I thought these looked more like work boots than winter boots, so I was leery of using them just for winter boots, but they are awesome in wet and snow, have excellent grip and maintain a comfortable foot temp with either cotton or wool-blend socks. While a little stiff at first they break in nicely. The sole looks like it will last a long time. I can get plantar fasciitis (heal pain) if my footwear doesn't have proper stiffness in the sole and support in the arch, but these boots fit the bill nicely. I take my dog for long walks in the cold winter months and with these boots I have never experienced any heal pain nor cold toes.

Comments about LaCrosse Extreme Tough Wellington Plain Toe 10" Work Boots:
I were the boots every day for work. Not so much of being totally waterproof. Feet always are getting wet and after a few months they will smell really bad.
