Comments about LaCrosse Brawny II 800g, 10" Hunting Boots:
I used these boots for trailing. I got these boots not 5 months ago , used them 3-4 times a week.I thought I had made a good choice until the sole and the upper part of the boot started to come undone and my feet started getting wet.

Comments about LaCrosse Brawny II 800g, 10" Hunting Boots:
I bought these boots one year ago this month (december 2012). These boots right out of the package look great, solid camo pattern/colors, feel very surprisingly light weight and 800g of Thinsulate help keep these boots warm enough and light enough to make them very versitile, as well as being 10" tall. Good traction also add to this being a good back woods boot. However, a huge drawback, in my opinion the biggest drawback, as of yesterday afternoon they all of a sudden became NOT waterproof. I sat in the treestand, not busting hump in the woods and sloshing around ponds and puddles, but sitting still in the treestand for two hours in the rain and when I got down my toes were soaked. At first I thought it may have been sweat because I was a bit on the warmer side when I got done going up the tree in the climber. But, when I got home and undressed and stuck my hands inside I know it wasn't sweat. WAY too much moisture to go through two pair of socks. I really just could not believe it. One year and these boots are basically rendered useless to me. Wet feet equal cold feet and cold feet equal miserable hunting trip. Sorry LaCrosse, I need a more dependable and longer lasting boot. $100+ and I demand more. I would have given these 5 stars had they kept their water tight integrity. Leaky boots are like I said useless and pointless.

Comments about LaCrosse Brawny II 800g, 10" Hunting Boots:
This product is light, comfortable, good for early season bowhunting, and late season rifle hunting with appropriate socks. I have had them for 8 plus years now, and they are still performing. I am going to get another pair before they stop making them.

Comments about LaCrosse Brawny II 800g, 10" Hunting Boots:
i bought these boots and absolutely love them. as a deer hunter in iowa, i can get quite cold out there sometimes. even after a full day in the woods in december, my feet have never gotten cold while wearing them. also, they are very light weight, which is big for as much walking as i do. it's nice to not have to lug around a lot of weight on my feet.
