Comments about LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox 600-gram Wader Pants:

These are exactly what I was looking for. They are roomy enough to allow movement. I don't have any clue what other reviews are talking about. Any smaller and you wouldn't be able to sit comfortably in these. Comfortable is how I describe them.

Comments about LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox 600-gram Wader Pants:

I don't know what the other reviewer was thinking. These fit exactly like I'd like them to fit. There is room for warmer clothing in the late fall and room to sit. Any tighter and you wouldn't be able to bend/sit. These aren't pants, they are waders. The legs and butt are reinforced and the uppers seam sturdy. The boots are comfortable.

Comments about LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox 600-gram Wader Pants:

Size 15 wide feet were hard to find waders for, until I found the Lacrosse Alpha Swamp Fox pants wader. I took a chance on these lightwight but durable nylon pants (instead of neoprene or rubber material with suspenders). After 20 days of use... so far, so good. LaCrosse Customer Service seems excellent in providing guidance, assurance and obtaining repairs. These waders have a mysterious pouch hanging outside, over left hip, from the seam below the belt. The pouch is a 6" by 3" piece of wader fabric, folded in half... like a 3" by 3" taco shell... then stitched on the two open sides with the third and last open side sewn the seam at the waist. So... no openings! What it is for, I cannot guess. LaCrosse rep was mystfied as well. Maybe it is surplus material in case you need a patch? Well, that's what mine is until and unless someone has a better idea. These waders fit high, I am 6'4" tall, 222 pounds, and the belt is just below my chest, probably 8" to 10" above the belt holding my pants up. Seems baggy on my tall but medium build. The roomy fit seemed a bit odd at first but worked well in the field, allowing great freedom of movement as I step over submerged obstacles. Finding size 15 wide boots was hard, Only LaCrosse seems to make them. Working in swamp, lifting and dragging heavy gear, the only complaint has been the snug belt restricts ability to take deep breaths during work requiring very heavy exertion. When necessary, I simply take a 5 minute break with the belt loosened, then resume work. We are in mud the consistancy of oatmeal to peanut butter, the latter is very good at pulling off the boots, requiring reinserting the foot and lifting leg while pulling fabric of pants leg up at same time to extract foot with the boot. Can't imagine any boot without laces doing any better.

Comments about LaCrosse Alpha Swampfox 600-gram Wader Pants:

I was exciting to get these waders and I showed them to my father (an avid duck hunter of 40+ years) We both ordered a pair and were shocked in the way these fit. I wear a size 13 and he was a 12. Both of us are healthy people and not even close to being over weight. When I put my waders on the waistline went up to my chest. The same was for my father and his waders. If you wear the waders as they are advertised, at the wait, you will look like a sagging teenager out in the blind. Everything about the waders looked and felt great expect for the fit. We both had to send them back.

I would say yes. They are a tougher version of neoprene.

The waist size is universal, the problem is for both me and my father the waist went up to our chest like "chest" waders. I am 6'4" and he is 5'10".
