      Great sight easy to adjust and is a great addition to the rifle and worth the money. See youtube for a ton of videos of what it looks like. Can shoot with one eye open now all the time.

      Only complaint is that the first sight has a little glue spot on the inside glass so Gander had to send me a new one. It was a disappointment after waiting a month for my backorder to complete. Not Gander's fault and they took care of me well.

        I have 2 on AR 15 carbine rifes.It doesnt get much better than this for close range shooting.tough too.Spend a little more and a site you can depend your life on

          I use this product for competition handgun (IHMSA) in 22 to 45/70 they are very
          accurate and have maintained their accuracy after thousands of rounds, they are a
          little pricey but I believe, worth every penny.

            The EOTech 512 is an incredible optic for what it is. The negative -> it is not a clear optic. Make sure you actually look through one before buying. It takes a little bit to get used to. The red center circle is not a crisp perfect sight like most are used to seeing/using. The actual center sight and dot look pixelated. The pixelation is simply a result of how the optic is made. Google EOTech 512 before buying. Once you understand what you are buying and use the optic for what it is intended for -- it is simply one of the best optics out there.

            Installed in minutes. Set zero afer about 10 rounds. Can consistantly put groups of 3 in eight inch diameter cirles at 100 yards. Easy to turn on but harder to turn off. Very fast target aquisition.

                They claim that the Eotech products can handle rough handling, but I baby all of my scopes and I now have around 6-10 different dots in the center of my target. I do not recomend this product to any one. As a former police officer I would not recommend this product to anyone. I have used $50 reddot sights that out perform this product.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                    According to EOTech they will stand basically any recoil. Check out their website. www.eotech-inc.com They make a model 552 with a ballistic drop compensated reticle for the .50 caliber.
