Plain Felt Sole - Compressed felt delivers traction performance underwater, on slimy rocks, on wet wood, etc.

Kling-On Sole - High-friction rubber is designed to excel in and out of water. This spongy rubber provides added durability and reduced water absorption. Perfect for scrambling trails, rock hopping, and wading in wet conditions.

i bought these boots because of vermonts no felts rule. i liked the change of soles feature,for me it sold the shoe.ive been using them for 3 months now shoe is great. its light like a sneaker so its easy to move with.had to run down 300 yds of river rip rap to land a 6lb brown,i like em i recomend them highly!!!
