I gave this product four stars since I honestly have not had necessity to actually use it in a self-defense scenario. I also have not actually test-fired the product, though I am considering buying another one for the sole purpose of testing/training. That said, I like the advertised capability (two shots, 13' standoff and rapid liquid dispersal vice aerosal). Some type of defense device with a degree of standoff is exactly what I was looking for. I purchaed three of these, one each for my wife, and elderly parents. Hopefully, they never have a reason to put them to use, but at least it provides an alternative to carrying a handgun (as my parents especially are not comfortable with that option). I like the small, easily concealable package and handgun-like ergonomic feel for aiming/engaging. If it actually operates as advertised, this is potentially a great self-defense alternative.

Purchased two of these for my son and his girlfriend who attend University in Philidelphia. My son commented that these were about the size of a small handgun and therefore not practical to carry in a concealed manner. Kimber, we need a smaller product.

We purchased several of these Pepper Blasters and took a few outside for testing. I have taught self defense classes for many years and this is by far the best pepper projector we have ever tested. It did not matter if we exposed the Pepper Blaster to extreme cold, extreme heat or threw it on the ground, it fired each and every time. Every other brand uses an aerosol spray that blows around in the wind or looses pressure when you need it. Not this product. This unit fires a large pattern about 12 inches wide and it has a very strong pepper solution. What's best is it will never burst, leak or loose pressure. It also is simple to use. Just point and shoot. Excellent product I highly recommend and carry everyday.
