Kershaw and Rick Hinderer have teamed up to bring you a smaller pocketknife with plenty of style, the Ember Folding Knife. The blade is just 2" long and, when closed, the knife is a compact 2.8" for convenient carrying in your pocket, briefcase, or backpack. Angles, contours, matte-gray coating, and black hardware give the Ember a tactical look-and-feel that knife users will appreciate. The modified clip-point blade has an ergonomic top curve, which gives the user a convenient place to position an index finger when guiding the knife's edge in a close-cutting situation. The blade is heat treated to Kershaw's demanding specifications to bring out the best steel quality.
For easy opening, the Ember features SpeedSafe assisted opening and a handy, built-in flipper. A sturdy frame lock secures the blade in position for safe use. Both the blade and the handle are coated in titanium carbo-nitride to give the Ember its signature matte gray finish. The deep-carry pocketclip on the Ember makes it fit comfortably low in your pocket. The user may position the pocketclip for tip-up or tip-down carry on one side and one-position carry on the other.
