Comments about Kent Fasteel Waterfowl Loads, 12 Ga., 3-1/2", 1-3/8 oz, #2, 4, BB:

I've been duck hunting for 20 years and have shot numerous types of shells. I've been through the whole 2 3/4" to 3" to 3 1/2" revolution; the "this is heavier than steel" revolution; as well as the 1300 fps to 1400 fps to now in excess of 1600 fps steel shotshell revolution. Some say that "speed kills". I've shot many shells with equivalent (or higher) speed to Kent: steel as well as other heavier shot. None have compared to Kent Fasteel. Not even the $30+ per box of 10 Non-Toxic "Heavier than steel" shells! I'd say it's more of a "Kent Kills" rather than "Speed Kills" motto.

I've shot Kent for the past 9 years averaging a case and half per duck and goose season. I hunt in rain more often than not, but in that entire time, I've only had ONE misfire on a shell that sat in the bottom of a salt-water filled pocket. These are the best patterning, hardest hitting, and least crippling steel shotshells I've ever shot!

Kent shell components are amazing. If you've ever cut one open, you know what I mean. The pellets are perfectly sized and shaped. The powder is super-fine and burns cleanly. They pattern consistently well. Not only that, but they perform extremely well in the field. I rarely cripple a bird with Kent. 30, 35, 40, 50+ yards. It doesn't really matter! I've killed more Giant Canada Geese with Kent Fasteel #2s than with the more expensive non-toxic heavy shot that I purchased to do just that.

These shells are simply outstanding! I strongly recommend them for anyone and everyone. And you can't beat the price for such a reliable, well-made, and deadly shell!

Any of us old school waterfowlers remember those folding up birds when we used lead , well for steel this as close as it gets . I've killed alot of ducks with this and the price isn't bad when compaired to that $40.00 a box of 10 stuff . GOOD HUNTING !!!!!!

Rounds cycled smoothly. Good quality ammo for the price. There were not many cripples shooting this round. Speed does make a difference!!!
