I'm wearing this shoe everyday! It goes anywhere, from the trail to the grocery store! With 2 young boys, life doesn't stop and these are amazing every where! They are true to size. I bought it a half size larger, because I have wide feet and they say these are medium, but next time I will stick to my size! Every woman should own a pair!

Comments about Keen Women's Targhee II Low Hiker:
I always buy hiking shoes and always regret it. I can never seem to find a pair that fit right. Keen Targhee II has thankfully come through. They have a wider toe box, which I need, as I suffer from Morton's Neuroma. I put them on and it felt like I had been wearing them for months, they were that comfortable. Up until a couple of months ago, I never wrote reviews, however I have started because I think it is important for buyers to know what other buyers experience. If you need a wider toe box, try these on for size.

Comments about Keen Women's Targhee II Low Hiker:
WALK 5 DAYS A WEEK OVER 2 MILES. NEVER HURT. DIDN'T KNOW YOU CARRIED THEM UNTIL I COULD NOT BUY THEM AT REI ANY MORE AND STARTED LOOKING AROUND. HAVE PURCHASED THE LAST TWO PAIR FROM GM. BOTTOMS DO WEAR OUR IN ABOUT 9 MONTHS BUT THE REST OF SHOE IS STILL IN GOOD SHAPE.

I look forward to using my new Keens on our upcoming trip. You were very helpful in my decision to order a half size larger than I normally wear. Thank you

Comments about Keen Women's Targhee II Low Hiker:
Great hiking shoes. I also have a pair of hiking sandels from Keen and both are wonderful.
The hiking shoes are great in rainy weather. I can walk through muddy/wet trails. My feet are dry. That is what I am most impressed with.
They do get a little warm in the summer if that is an issue then I would use the sandels.

Comments about Keen Women's Targhee II Low Hiker:
I went to Hawaii and was looking for a good hiking shoe. These were perfect. I took my dog for a walk twice to break them in before my trip, but they didn't even need that. We hiked the Haleakala volcano on Maui, which is like the surface of the moon. And we hiked some trails to waterfalls on the Road to Hana (dirt trails and rocks). This shoe was great in both conditions. Perfect with the GM Hiking Quarter Sock (#418944). And lighter to pack than a hiking boot. Love them!

Q:
Do the women's Keen Targhee II hiking boots run true to size?Asked on 12/29/2008 by Kate2 answers
A:
yes they doAnswered on 12/28/2009 by Vickie the walker from Poplar Bluff MOA:
For me they did. I bought an 8. When I first put them on out of the box, I thought maybe they were too small and considered ordering a half or full size up. But after wearing them around the house that day, they were perfect. Going up a size would have caused slipping in the heel for me.Answered on 4/20/2010 by Hiking in Hawaii from Medina, OH
