    I rarely wear another shoe in the summer.
    fit is nice, were not stiff when new, and now they feel like they are part of my foot.
    the leather version that i have is a great all around version, from the outdoors to a non- trendy gathering.

    if you dont wash them from time to time and are using them frequently they will start to smell.
    also the leather version is not meant for salt wather so ge the Newport 2 if using in the salts.

    i would buy anothe pair without a second thought!
    bottom line, is you are looking for a utility sandle, this is the one for you.

                While I have yet to put a full day in them (just turning spring in Indiana) they are very comfortable. Durability will be the deciding factor for my satisfaction. They appear to be tough. A good cross between a sandal & shoe.
