Comments about Keen® Men's Targhee II Mid Hiker:
I am outside 100% of my 8hr day. Rain/Snow/Mud/Dew/Frost I subject these boots to an extreme amount of moisture daily. I gave the boots a 5 star even though NO boot is perfect this one is the closest I've ever found. I have never found a 100% waterproof hiking boot that is not a 20lb fishing wader. These boots stay dry for at least 4 hours of constant morning dew wet grass walking and the same in downpour rain. No joke the Staydry system has outperformed others I have tried in the same pricerange. I walk an average 8 miles a day 5 days a week in Northwestern PA weather conditions. These boots last about 9 months before I have to consider a new pair purchase. If you figure the math thats about 1500 miles per pair untreated and totally exposed to the elements. WELL WORTH THE $. Pair these boots up with a good pair of Smartwool socks and you are a walking/hiking/climbing machine.

Great ankle support. Saved me countless times from taking a nasty spill on trails and even at work. I was surprised at how lightweight they were when i got them! I know when these wear out, I'll be ordering another pair!

Comments about Keen® Men's Targhee II Mid Hiker:
I plan to exercise more by minimal hiking and I wanted a mid-rise boot to support my ankles. These boots are so lightweight and comfortable that my wife is also purchasing the same boot for herself.

A:
Doesn't look like they are available in widths by looking on Keen's site, however, they seem to be cut more generous than anything I have wore to date!Answered on 3/15/2009 by Beck from Harrisburg, Pa
