Comments about KL Industries Sportsman Fishing Boat:
Ideal boat for taking kids fishing or two adults for that matter. Extremely stable and easy to launch by yourself. Ideal for pond, lakes or backwaters. Have had on Hudson River, but certainly would not go venturing out in river channel where the water may get rough "3-4ft roller waves". Its perfect, especially the lateral stability. It is the design of a pontoon with center channel underneath that makes it very stable. Don't expect to go over hull speed with small motor. It is too short of boat to move around fast. A good trolling motor with two batteries "One main and backup" will suit you fine or you can just paddle. Well worth the money. I own two of them.

what is weight of boat? Is boat construted as one piece,if not,how are seams sealed watertight?Asked on 10/23/2010 by Jerry from west palm beach fl2 answers
A:
Has a midseam with rubrail and does not leak. It weighs 100lbs. I take it in and out of my 2008 Ranger pickup. Fits right in the back. Me and my son use this boat a lot. It's worth the money. With a 4hp motor, you can go about 8mph but after that the nose of boat comes up too high. Its short and not ment for speed. Read my post in review.Answered on 11/4/2010 by Steve from Hudson, NYA:
