          After two good seasons, the water sensor failed. The pump works great but my boat docks in deep water an hour's drive from my home; operating without an automatic pump is out of the question. Now I need a new sensor but they don't sell that part by itself.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            The pump itself works fine and I like the replaceable cartridge feature. Unfortunately, the "field effect" auto water sensing feature doesn't, at least not after two seasons. The sensor is not available as a stand-alone item, so I guess I have to buy a float switch from someone else.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                The Ultima bilge pump switch would be a good product, if it lasted longer. Mine lasted slightly more than one year, causing damage to my flooring in my boat. After reading on-line reviews at various web sites, I purchased a Waterwitch electronic float switch, which has a 7 year warranty and is used by the Coast Guard. I suggest that you do your research before buying this switch.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                  I presently have a Johnson 550 gph deficient pump w/auto switch. The pump has three leads(red, black, brown) and three leads on auto switch (red, black, brown). I have been unable to find an EXACT (like) replacement; they all have only 2 leads at pump (brown & black).

                  Will your Item # 76191 pump work with a 3 position console switch which has an AUTO, NEUTRAL (Off), and spring loaded MANUAL position, AND IF SO, how is it to be wired?
