Clean-burning propane powers this potent auger, and reduced emissions make it great for drilling inside shelters. Surprisingly quiet, its High-Torque Transmission (HTT) combines a heavy-duty clutch with an optimal gear ratio and ice-shredding blades to bore through ice quickly. Four-stroke engine. One 1-lb. propane cylinder is approximately equivalent to one tank of gas on other augers. E-Z Snap Cover included. Size: 10" (43 lbs.)

    Great Auger, Can't believe it starts on the first pull every time. So quiet and it runs so smooth. Have drilled over 75 holes on a tank of propane and it isn't empty yet. Best Auger I have ever used!

        I read all reviews. Gander Mnt had the best sale price. Recoil cracked on 1st pull. Gander Mnt saved the season with an exchange. Second one has been great except I had to warm up the recoil one morning after being overnight in an unheated garage. Works amazingly well re-opening holes in the fish house. Not much to scoop out after either. Love the 10" hole when reaching for those walleyes.

          Ordered it a week before X-mas and it arrived before X-mas. If you are drilling holes inside a fish house this is the auger to have- no smell-starts easy- and weighs the same as any others. This is a powerful auger! This is a great machine!

              I had an old 2 stroke gas model that would stink up the car and was hard to start. The first time out this started in 0 degree weather on the first pull each time and had plenty of power. Well worth the money
