Comments about JBL MR-145 AM/FM/CD Receiver:
I needed a replacement radio for my motorcycle as the one in it could not be fixed. This radio was the best fit and with a little modification fits well in my motorcycle. The radio works very good and now I can go down the road listening to music again.

Comments about JBL MR-145 AM/FM/CD Receiver:
I purchased this stereo in summer of 09 and last year the speakers started making a thumping noise. I replaced the speakers and the noise still exists. I contacted JBL and they have the worst product support of any company I've ever experienced. Now the CD player ejects cd's and refuses to play them. I guess JBL makes them disposable so you have to purchase a new one very 2 years.

Comments about JBL MR-145 AM/FM/CD Receiver:
[...] There is no way to plug an IPOD into the face! I had to hook the IPOD up through the "Aux-in" on the back of the unit. Cable cost $19 from [...]. It was an easy instal, but I was dissapointed with the info given to me. I can live with it the way it works, but would have liked to plug into the face.

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
980020 is strictly a front cover which will fit and work with in dash mounting. Item 990472 is the complete housing with a gimbal mount that hangs the radio down or mounts underneath the radio onto a flat horizontally level surface. Not for in dash mounting on most applicationsAnswered on 11/23/2009 by Justin from Overton's Technician
