I purchased these boots in March for a field job nest searching, trapping etc. on the Kansas prairie. Only after a few weeks or maybe even less time the soles were breaking and pieces were falling off. The sides of the boots were ripping and no longer able to wear them in water. Tried to return them to GM but they would not refund me[...]Will never buy from GM or Itasca again!!

Comments about Itasca Women's Swampwalker 14" Uninsulated Hunting Boot:
Purchased these boots for work. After a couple weeks of work the boots started to wear and weren't water resistant anymore. I was hopeing it was just a faulty pair but after reading numerous comments figured its just a poor product and wouldn't purchase again. Contacted Itasca and told them about the problem. They still haven't gotten back to me.

Comments about Itasca Women's Swampwalker 14" Uninsulated Hunting Boot:
I usually wear a Women's size 8 but this boot in size 8 was too big and a 7 was too small...half sizes would be nice! I would recommend trying on before purchasing.

Comments about Itasca Women's Swampwalker 14" Uninsulated Hunting Boot:
I just went out in the most miserable rainy slushy/snowy day. Stepped through pools of water over and over and came home with dry socks. So these get my vote of approval. However they are not very warm but I suppose these boots are not meant to wear for any length of time in 35 degree weather. For spring they would definately be better suited when the temps are up. I also like the fact that they have PLENTY of calf room as I always seems to have problems with finding a boot that fits around my calfs. They are wide and adjustable.
