The elite Tavor SAR IDF model is the US civilian version of the select-fire bullpup rifle used by the Israeli Defense Force, but in a semi-auto only configuration. It comes with a Meprolight MEPRO 21 Day/Night Illuminated reflex sight mounted directly to the barrel, just as it is issued to the IDF. The ambidextrous bullpup configuration allows for short rifle convenience with long rifle accuracy and is ergonomically shaped for ultimate shooting comfort. In addition to the reflex sight, the IDF16 features built-in flip-up battle sights with a tritium insert blade up front and an aperture sight in the rear. Both the stock and magazine are made of durable polymer for weight reduction without strength compromise. The detachable, cold hammer-forged barrel is chrome-lined with a 1 in 7" twist.
