I waited to do my review after a year of full use. During the first year these boots rocked and would have received a 5 star rating for performance. These boots were used from Aug to Mid Jan last year. Everything about this boot is spot on with easy to remove and very comfortable.

I just started to do my scouting for this year and found a small leak with some of the rubber coming loose around the sole. Really REally dissapointed with the durability of these boots for what I would consider pretty light usage.

Comments about Irish Setter Mens Rutmaster 17" Uninsulated Knee Boot:

PICKED THESE UP LAST YEAR FOR DEER HUNTING IN NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN ALABAMA. EXCELLENT QUALITY PRODUCT. IVE PUT THESE BOOTS THROUGH HELL AND HAVE YET TO HAVE A COMPLAINT ABOUT THEM. IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE STATE I HUNT IN THE MOUNTAINS AND SPEND ALOT OF TIME HIKING UP ROUGH MOUNTAINSIDES THESE BOOTS HAVE PERFORMED ALMOST AS GOOD AS SOME OF MY PACK BOOTS. FOR RUBBERS THEYRE PROBABLY THE MOST COMFORTABLE IVE EVER OWNED. IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE STATE I HUNT BRUSHY CUT OVERS AND SWAMPY AREAS MOSTLY AGAIN PERFORMED GREAT! NO NICKS AND BURS IN THE RUBBER AFTER TRAPESING THROUGH BLACKBERRY THICKETS FOR HOURS ON END. HAD ORIGINALY WANTED THE INSULATED BUT THESE ARE PLENTY WARM WITH A PAIR OF GOOD SOCKS FOR MOST COLD SNAPS I SEE DOWN HERE AN LIGHT ENOUGH FOR THE EARLY SEASON. THIS IS MY FIRST PAIR OF IRISH SETTERS AN I WILL BE BUYING MORE.

Comments about Irish Setter Mens Rutmaster 17" Uninsulated Knee Boot:

I ride ATVs alot, lots of mud and fairly deep water. These boots work like a champ. They feel like I'm wearing sneakers, very light weight. They've yet to leak on me and I've put them through hell. I originally ordered the LaCross boots similar to these but they were too narrow. I do not regret buying these boots. I've had these a little over a year now. I would recomend long socks if not wearing your pants tucked in to your boots.
