I needed a mattress for our third bedroom/office that could be easily used when needed and removed when not needed. We considered a click-clack (new version of a futon), but they almost all received bad reviews. I did a lot of research about inflatible mattresses. I almost bought an Eddie Bauer that was $150, but I couldn't bring myself to pay that much. I found this mattress on another site and it had received great reviews. It also happened to be on sale at the time and I found a code for a coupon. [...]. It's quick and easy to inflate/deflate and my guests have said its very comfortable. I love the height of it - it doesn't feel like you are sleeping on the floor.

Great product while they lasted. Purchased for a home bed, found it easy to set up, good heigth and very comfortable to sleep on. Lost a slight amount of air occasionally but was easy to add a little air. First one lasted approximately 3 months and the second about 8 months. Each time one of the inside seams separated making the bed uneven and uncomfortable, I'm 6'2" and about 195 lbs, I believe the bed info states it will hold 600 lbs. It does tend to slide easily on the floor whereas another brand we have holds firmly to the floor. I only recommend this product because it does not appear others have had this issue and overall the bed is comfortable.

Comments about Intex Queen Downy Raised Air Bed With Integrated Pump:

I bought this item last year for a camping trip. I made sure to read the reviews about all of the air mattresses before I purchased and this one was the most cost efficient with the best reviews. I have been so happy with this air mattress. I used it to camp, we also brought it to NYC with us and used it for a few days while staying with friends, and I used it at over night sleepovers. Overall, it has been very comfortable and reliable for us. The built in pump is awesome. Unless you don't have a way to connect it to any electricity. I'm sure it would be easy to fill it up with a hand held pump, though. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the time it takes to deflate. I would say it takes about 15 minutes or so to get it packed away. Not a huge deal but still a bit of a pain when you want to get going from wherever you are.(Or if you have to take it out every night and pack it away every morning for 4 days because aparments are so small in NYC) Getting it back into the bag it comes in is a bit challenging too. Overall, I think you'd be very happy with your purchase if you went with this air mattress.

Comments about Intex Queen Downy Raised Air Bed With Integrated Pump:

Bought this mattress yesterday for my husband and myself to take our 9 yr old son camping for the first time. Our son wants to sleep on a cot. I inflated it today and it sinks in the middle. I rolled to the middle when I tried it out. There is NO support in the middle and I'm sure it won't be comfortable. So I'll be taking it back tomorrow. Like the height!

I have purchased this before to use at my brother's apartment when I visit, I have one at home for guests, and this last one was for my sister's apartment when I visit. I have spent a number of days sleeping on this and it is comfortable alone or with two people. It inflates and deflates SUPER easy. It's nice to be up high off the floor on a blow up. Great purchase and good quality!

Comments about Intex Queen Downy Raised Air Bed With Integrated Pump:

We purchased this air mattress in October of last year at the Evansville, IN Gander Mountain for my daughter to take on a camping trip. Spending approx. $80, we felt we were getting a decent mid-level air mattress . . . and we spent that extra money because we specifically wanted a queen sized mattress in the event of company staying over. Daughter used the mattress, packed it up, brought it home, and put it with our camping gear.

Fast-forward to the present. We're going on a weekend getaway with a large group and offered the use of our "queen sized" mattress to friends. We got to the campsite, unpacked, and took the mattress to their tent to inflate. Imagine our surprise when it unrolled and it was FULL sized instead of queen. We honestly thought that we had grabbed the wrong mattress at the time. We hadn't.

This Intex "queen" bed measures 54" wide x 75" long . . . which is standard FULL size . . . instead of the 60" wide x 80" long that they specify.

Needless to say we're disgusted, we feel we've been ripped off, and we won't be buying Intex again.

I dont think so . This bed is queen size and 22in. tall . Takes alot of air which the build in pump supplies. Probably to big to backpack so you could get a acdc converter to run the pump for camping with a vehicle.

No, the pump is 120v AC. Would need a power Inverter in order to use this on as 12v dc power source

From my experience, as we've always used the inflatable beds, you are using cool air, or room tempeture air, when you inflate the air beds, therefore we ALWAYS use a nice thick quilt or blanket over the mattress before adding a sheet. However, with the Recreation Raised Bed I don't see how it would transfer cold from the ground because of the double mattress.

A standard queen sheet is too large and a twin is too small. I use the queen sheet and just stretch the extra under the bed.

as long as the battery pump has an outlet, or if the tube from the pump fits into the release hole you should be fine.
