Ours came with the pool. Just plug it in and your good to go. We have had ours for 3 years now and it works great! Just hose it out once a year, but the directions are included and super easy to follow! A kid could do it!

Q:
can the krystal clear saltwater system be used for a 24 ft above ground pool and how much salt does it need to start it up? A can it be conncected to a sand filter?Asked on 6/3/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
The amount is on the box - off-hand, I think I put 210lbs. in our 21 foot, but don't remember for sure. Should be no issue with a sand filter, comes in after the pump, filter, heater, just before the water returns to the pool.Answered on 7/2/2012 by RonKetter from Minneapolis, MN

I started mine with 320 lbs., and it has worked great ever since, which has been over a month now, was recommended to start with 340 but 320 is working just fine.Answered on 6/21/2012 by Ritto from Ogden, UT.A:
The amount is probably on the box - off-hand, I think I put 210 lbs. in our 21 foot which is holds about 11,000 gallongs, but don't remember for sure. If the amount is not on the box you can figure it out based on the gallons of water in your pool.Answered on 7/2/2012 by RonKetter from Minneapolis, MN
