I shoot a T/C Omega .50 and decided to try this product this season. Last season I loaded and hunted with a 200grain .40 XTP bullet loaded in a harvestor 50/40 blue sabot. This was pushed by 2 777 mag pellets. This load gave me 3 shots within an inch at 100 yards and the 2 deer that were hit by this load, 1 in the neck at 60 yards and 1 lung at 80 both dropped in their tracks.
The White hots used with the same bullet, sabot combo were 2 inches at best. I will say though that using the precision dead center bullets and 2 white hot pellets, I achieved a group of 1 inch at 100 yards. The funny thing was that using the 777 mag pellets, I am dead center perfect at 100 yards, but the 2 white hots are dead center 1 inch low consistently. That doesn't really match up with their marketing claims.
Overall I think this product performed better than the regular 777 pellets and the recoil was noticeably less.

Comments about IMR White Hots:
I have now 2 years in a row missed out on the oppertunity to bag deer. I have had issues with this product and miss fires. Just yesterday, I missed a big doe at 15 feet because of these White Hots not igniting. The 209 primer went off and burned straight through the center of the pellets, but did not ignite? I am done and switching next year. Don't buy these!

Comments about IMR White Hots:
I tried White Hots for the first time last year. Sighted in with Power Belt 250 grain AeroLite .50 Cal Bullets, 100 grains of White Hot pellets at 100 yards 1 inch high. Unfortunately, I never saw anything to squeeze the trigger on.
This year has been quite tumultuous with personal issues with family and I never made it to a range to set the scope again, nor shoot out the load from last season. Yes, it stayed in the barrel.
Fast forward to this season. Second day of season: A doe and her yearling running into the field and stopped at about 220 yards. I have the Nikon Omega scope with the BDC (bullet drop compensator)on my T/C Omega. Set it on her at the 200 yard circle on the reticle and squeezed it off. I pick her up tonight from the processor. So, I can't find ANY fault with the White Hots. They lived up to even more than I expected. I'm done trying different powders.

Comments about IMR White Hots:
1st year hunter- shot .50 w/ 2 pellets and 250 grain top of line bullet. Out of 12 shots it delayed slightly on 6 or 7 shots, with 209 primers. It was accurate at 100 yds. Will try other brands next yr.
