hunters_specialties Ditch your handheld video recorder for the i-Kam Xtreme Video Sunglasses, an advanced lightweight set of eyewear with a built-in mobile video recorder. A nearly unnoticeable pinhole CMOS video camera is mounted in the center of the glasses for sharp video and audio digital recording. Easy one-button operation on the side controls the functions. The video records at 700Kbps and replays at 500Kbps. Built-in 4GB of memory with a maximum of 8GB using a micro SD card. The video glasses feature an easy PC/laptop connection that doesn't need a software driver. The i-KAM has an embedded 550mAh Li-polymer power supply that's rechargeable using the 5-volt DC/500mAh charger. It will run for up to 3 hours on a single charge. Sharp 736x480 video playback resolution. Compatible with Windows Media Player, Quicktime, Real Player and Storm codec. Recording speed of 25 fps. AVI video format with audio. USB 2.0 (HS). Working temperature of 23°F to 104°F. Includes two sets of sunglass lenses (clear and polarized black). Comes with charger, USB cord, cleaning cloth and carrying case.

    I would buy these again

    very easy to use. good for sporting events I use mine for wrestling matches perfect. The only bad is hunting with rifle with scope scope blocks camera lense.

    Must've gotten a LEMON???

    I must have purchased a 'lemon' pair. I purchased these approximately 2 weeks ago from Gander Mountain to use during spring turkey season. The first hunt (1 week ago) I pushed the one button to turn the glasses on, then the 2nd button to record the hunt. When the hunt was over, approx 45 minutes later, the glasses 'locked up'. Took the glasses home, followed the troubleshooting tips online. Then took them out for a 2nd try this last weekend, same scenario, the glasses locked up and still no turkey hunting video. When the glasses lock up, they do not 'save' any video! Two turkey hunts and still NO video. I contact them to return the glasses, and find out that the glasses I just purchased (2 weeks ago from GM) are actually the older, outdated version. They have two buttons, whereas, the newer improved revised glasses have only one button! I would NOT recommend these to anyone and only gave it 1 star, because -0- stars is NOT an option!

    Well, the video is decent quality, the audiop leave a lot to be desired, but you can still understand what is said.

    I personally use them in security work when I have to clear vacant apartment units.

    Be VERY careful about swapping the lenses too many times as that weakens the frame.

      Excellent, so nice to be hands free. The qullity of the vedio is great. Dont have to worry about the camera falling over, or having to look to see if its recording. The little blue blinking light tells you when you are recording. The glasses fit perfectly. I love the fact that I can change the lenes. These glasses are perfect. I wish I would have gotten them sooner than I did. If you are thinking about getting a pair, stop thinking and do it. You wont be disappointed.

            No zoom but seems fine for archery. When using a gun I get a great view of the side of my scope. Not a fan of the 8 second delay before it starts recording.

            Very Consumer Friendly to use. Now you can record anything you need documented. Just push the start button to record and "look mom no hands" to be hands free while recording. I would give it 4 Stars on the Video Quality. The built in memory is Great at 2 hrs and more when you install your own SD Card.
